Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare & food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

The role typically schedules 8–16 hours per week and requires a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (or related field) and a Master’s degree, plus licensure and ongoing CE requirements.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the CDR or meets Academy eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development and revision of quality improvement programs.
