Elior North America is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Dietitian for Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess patients' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to optimize status, and improve quality of life in line with each resident’s goals.

This position typically schedules 8–16 hours per week. You will work with the healthcare team, follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contribute to continuous quality improvement within our hospital dining

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) required.
Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
Passed the CDR national examination or eligible per AND requirements.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilités

Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
