Job summary

Advocate Health’s Wake Forest Health Network High Point Westchester Medical Plaza is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for PRN as-needed coverage at the High Point Clinic. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensure patient safety, and coordinate with radiologists to meet clinical needs.

The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology training, registry eligibility within 1 year, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the specific procedure on requisition.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and verifying identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and demonstrates correct anatomical positioning.
• Maintains records as required by department standards.
