Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist for the Orthopedics department in Fishersville, Virginia. You will operate radiographic equipment to produce quality images of designated body parts, supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced orthopedic setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT certification or registry-eligible with eligibility to take the exam within 6 months, and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• ARRT certification required or registry-eligible; if registry-eligible, pass Radiologic Technologist examination within 6 months from date of hire.
• CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire.

• Pay or shift range: $27.77 USD to $42.49 USD
  The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

Description

Perform a variety of technical tasks involved in operating radiographic equipment and making radiographs of designated portions of the body.

Education, Licensure/Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or higher preferred
• Must meet the educational requirement for Radiologic Technologist certification with ARRT
  ARRT registered or registry-eligible in Radiologic Technology.
  If registry-eligible, employee must pass Radiologic Technologist examination within 6 months from date of hire
• CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire

Experience:

• One or more years of experience in the field of Radiology preferred
