Qualifications

• Knowledge of ER, OR, and Fluoroscopy imaging procedures.
• Knowledge of Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions.
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors.
• Knowledge of Radiographic and Fluoroscopic equipment.
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to learn radiology software packages.

Responsibilities

• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within technologist scope, including monitoring patient condition and infection control.
• Maintains exam rooms and equipment, ensuring safety checks are up to date.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Adheres to ALARA concepts to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic imaging procedures with high-quality images meeting standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Assists patients during procedures ensuring comfort, safety and privacy.
