Albert Einstein Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist (PRN) to perform x-ray scans and support diagnostic imaging. The role ensures high-quality imaging while adhering to safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

You'll participate in patient education and collaborate with radiology staff to deliver efficient imaging services. The position requires ARRT certification in Radiology (R) with state licensing as applicable, and a commitment to ongoing education.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or ARRT registry in Radiology Technology (R).
• ARRT (R) license required; CT preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff in alignment with Jefferson values.
• Position radiographic equipment to produce diagnostically useful images.
• Explain procedures and obtain relevant patient history for examinations.
• Communicate effectively with patients.
• Protect staff and patients per radiation safety standards (shields/aprons).
• Follow local, state, national regulations and clinical protocols for imaging services.
• Maintain and test x-ray equipment; document results.
• Maintain patient records and ensure RIS/PACS accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist lead technologist with quality assurance tasks and other duties.
• Maintain continuing education required for licenses.
