Job summary

Atrium Health University City is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of the Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced surgical radiology environment.

The role requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology training, registry eligibility within one year of hire, and BLS certification. Strong teamwork and patient communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Documents patient history pertinent to the procedure on physician requisition.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and positions patients according to procedure requirements.
• Maintains records as required by departmental standards.
