Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, is seeking dynamic individuals to join our team in a PRN capacity at the Novant Health Imaging Piedmont center in Winston-Salem, NC. This role offers flexible scheduling and shifts planned two weeks to a month in advance to cover PTO and other coverage needs.

As a PRN team member you may work one day in a week or two to three days in others, providing diverse experience while supporting patient flow and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy, CMA (AAMA/NHA) or RMA (AMT/ARMA) or ARRT (R/MR/CT/M) registration required.
• CPR certification required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients prior to exam.
• Assist patients with completing electronic paperwork.
• Obtain medical history from patients.
• Escort patients to changing room and ensure appropriate attire.
• Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist technologist in preparing MRI table and related tasks.
• Start and remove IVs.
• Maintain linen inventory.
• Research availability and obtain reports/images requested by Radiologist.
• Serve as liaison between technologist and Radiologist.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Phlebotomy certification

Certified Medical Assistant certification (AAMA or NHA)

Registered Medical Assistant certification (AMT or ARMA) or ARRT registration (R/MR/CT/M)
