Job summary

MusC Community Physicians is seeking a PRN radiologic technologist to perform medical X-ray exams and provide imaging services across the rural health network in South Carolina. The role involves operating portable X-ray devices, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic exams, checking equipment and supplies, and keeping the work area organized. High school diploma with accredited radiology training and ARRT certification are required,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiology program (usually a two-year associate degree).
• Radiographer (ARRT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations on patients.
• Utilize portable x-ray equipment as needed.
• Check and maintain equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly.
• Ensure efficient operation and perform preventive maintenance as scheduled; coordinate with service providers for major malfunctions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage supplies to keep materials on hand.
• Perform other related duties including lifting and transporting patients.

Education
