Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a radiology technologist to manage and perform diagnostic radiology procedures for ED, outpatient, inpatient and surgical patients.

Under physician supervision, you will operate X-ray, fluoroscopic and portable equipment, and ensure professional patient care with required ARRT registration/eligibility and CPR certification. Two-year allied health program graduate preferred; SC license required.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal two-year allied health AMA approved school.
  • Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and SC license.
  • CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiographies for the emergency department, outpatient, inpatient and surgery patients.
  • Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable x-ray equipment.
  • Provide professional patient care under direct supervision of physicians.
