Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks a Radiologic Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging for PRN/part-time shifts. You will operate x-ray equipment, position patients, and ensure quality images for interpretation.

Qualifications

• AMA approved School of Radiology Technology or ARRT Certification
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification or ability to obtain ARRT within 12 months of employment

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs and adjust exposure per safety guidelines.
• Explain procedures to patients and position patients for views.
• Monitor and assist with fluoroscopic procedures and other radiographic procedures.
• Process images for quality and match with paperwork for interpretation.
• Provide education and training to DUHS radiology technology programs and orientation to new technologists
• Perform other duties incidental to the work herein and support career growth within imaging services.
