Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to support the Duke University Health System. The role requires operating x-ray equipment, positioning patients, and collaborating with physicians to deliver accurate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.

The position is Part-Time, 1st Shift (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM). ARRT certification or ability to obtain will be required, along with DOT/OSHA-compliant safety practices and a commitment to patient

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology or ARRT Certification.
• BLS certification and ARRT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to take radiographs as directed.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and use protective devices.
• Monitor equipment and assist physicians during fluoroscopic procedures.
• Process images for interpretation and ensure documentation.
• Provide education and orientation to new technologists.
