Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Glenview Heights, Illinois, seeks a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and patient care on an on-site basis. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure safety, document in EMR/PACS, and support cross-training in advanced modalities.

The role requires strong patient communication, adherence to ALARA principles, and compliance with licensure and CPR requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Associate degree preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred / new graduate acceptable
• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Responsibilities

• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that equipment is cleaned and safety checked.
• Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed.
