Job summary

Intermountain Health in Park City, UT is seeking a Limited Scope Radiology Technologist for a PRN role with varied shifts. You will perform radiologic exams, verify orders, and ensure patient comfort while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Utah licensure or ARRT Board Registry Eligible per Utah requirements.
• Currently completing the last semester of a Radiology Technologist associate degree program.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Competency in at least one: Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, Bone Densitometry (DEXA).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic exams producing quality images while prioritizing patient and caregiver safety.
• Verify patient identification and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams.
• Explain procedures clearly and help alleviate patient anxiety.
• Follow imaging protocols, positioning techniques, equipment procedures, and radiation safety guidelines.
• Recognize emergent patient situations and respond quickly and appropriately.
• Accurately complete required documentation, including timestamps and image storage.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate information to other healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and caregivers.
• Keep supplies and equipment organized and ready for use.
• Continue developing knowledge and skills through education and training on new procedures and equipment.
