Job summary

Fiberhire is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Swansea, MA on a PRN basis. You will work under licensed PT supervision with a flexible schedule and participate in a comprehensive rehabilitation program.

You will assist with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and patient education to improve independence and quality of life for residents. This role offers a supportive team and a chance to impact daily patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts PTA license is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehab, or healthcare settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, and independence.
• Assist patients with exercises, transfers, gait training, and mobility techniques.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT and clinical staff.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Promote safety and infection control; follow procedures.
