Avante at Mt. Dora Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will assist with assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment plans while documenting care and communicating progress to residents and families. • Associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
• Current state licensure or license eligible.
• 0–3 years of long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Therapy services to patients under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in assessment, treatment planning and implementation.
• Document daily care per established guidelines and communicate progress to residents, families and team.
