Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN role at Wolfeboro Bay Center in Wolfeboro, NH. The PTA will support residents’ mobility and functional goals under a licensed PT and collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team.

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire PTA license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, and mobility training.
• Follow treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Monitor resident performance and communicate relevant changes to the therapy team.
• Reinforce safe mobility techniques and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain clear and timely treatment documentation.
• Coordinate with other members of the rehabilitation and care teams.
