Job summary

Stern Therapy Consultants is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) on a PRN basis in Sharon, MA. The PTA will deliver therapy under a licensed PT, guide residents through mobility and strength activities, and help implement treatment plans in a collaborative rehab setting.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts PTA license required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance, and mobility activities
• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising PT
• Observe resident performance and communicate relevant changes
• Reinforce safe mobility and therapeutic techniques
• Maintain clear and timely treatment documentation
• Work closely with other members of the care team
