Job summary

Oasis Nursing is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis in El Paso, TX. You will assist in delivering patient-centered rehab to improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under PT supervision.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed therapies, documenting progress, and collaborating with the rehab team. Strong communication and Teamwork are essential, with Net Health experience a plus. New graduates welcomed to apply.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy practices.
• Familiar with Net Health Electronic Documentation System.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and modify approaches with the team.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation complies with policies and regulatory requirements.
