Job summary

HealthPro Heritage invites a PT A Assistant (PTA) to join as a PRN provider in Fort Myers, FL. The role focuses on assisting with treatment plans, providing patient care, and documenting progress under Physical Therapists within an assisted living community.

You will support mobility and independence goals, participate in education, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, and home care settings.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a PTA, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor patient progress, document observations, and educate patients and families.
• Accurately document treatments, progress, and responses per facility policies.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
