HealthPro Heritage in Sayville, NY, seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for a PRN, as-needed role in our assisted living community. Therapy sessions are M-F with no evenings or weekends, offering a flexible schedule and competitive hourly pay.

The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans, provide direct patient care, and document progress in collaboration with Physical Therapists. Join a mission-driven team delivering high-quality care.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
