Job summary

HealthPro Heritage has a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) or Physical Therapist opportunity at our assisted living community in Summit, NJ. This PRN role is as-needed, with therapy Monday–Friday and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or licensure eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on protocols.
• Accurately document treatments and progress in accordance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated care.
