Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Saint Charles, MO. This PRN position offers a $37/hr rate and a $1,250 sign-on bonus with no commitments, plus opportunities for advancement within a large hospital network.

Responsibilities include assisting PT services, implementing treatment plans, and guiding patients in functional activities and mobility. Valid PTA license and BLS are required to start.

Qualifications

• Valid state PTA license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery of physical therapy services including transportation and therapeutic exercises.
• Implement treatment goals and plans as established by the physical therapist.
• Assist the PT in carrying out interventions to meet long-term goals (strengthening, balance, endurance, mobility).
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics or assistive devices.
