Job summary

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital South, operated with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for days with varied schedules. This role supports the interdisciplinary team in providing high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care in St. Louis.

The PTA must have an Associate's degree, an active PTA license in the state, CPR certification, and Rehab or acute care experience is preferred. Join us to contribute to excellent patient outcomes and continued professional growth.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
