Job summary

Methodist Senior Services is seeking a Physical Therapist (full-time or part-time) to join our rehabilitation team in West Point, Mississippi. You will develop individualized plans, provide skilled therapy, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance residents’ function and independence.

Your role includes evaluating residents, monitoring progress, and ensuring accurate documentation while mentoring therapies staff and supporting a mission-driven, resident-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (or related field)
• Current license/certification in Mississippi
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Adequate computer skills for documentation and charting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders
• Provide skilled physical therapy services to improve mobility, safety, and independence
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, physicians, and care team
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants per standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and outcomes
• Participate in interdisciplinary team to support high-quality care
