Job summary

Buena Vida Nursing is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis in Texas. You will Administer prescribed treatments and provide skilled services under a PT, supporting residents to improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include documentation, interprofessional collaboration, and patient/family education. Prior SNF experience and Net Health familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of PT treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PT treatments to improve function and mobility.
• Provide skilled PT services under the supervision of a PT.
• Document progress and maintain timely records per policy.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings.
