Zusammenfassung

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis in Texas.

You will deliver person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under PT supervision. Responsibilities include administering prescribed PT treatments, documenting progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
Provide services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist.
Implement and modify plans of care under PT supervision.
Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the team.
Provide clinical education to patients, family and caregivers.
Ensure thorough timely documentation per policies and regulations.
Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
