Job summary

Goodwin Living is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Alexandria, Virginia, to work with an interdisciplinary team ensuring older adults live their best lives. You will render PT treatments under a PT Plan of Care to improve function and quality of life.

Requirements include a PTA program graduate, an active PTA license, and CPR certification. The role offers flexible hours with competitive benefits and Daily Pay options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist Assistant program (accredited).
• Up-to-date Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• CPR certified (adult only).

Responsibilities

• Provides Physical Therapy treatments to improve residents' functional abilities under a Physical Therapist’s Plan of Care.
• Communicates with the Physical Therapist to relay progress and adjust the Plan of Care as needed.
• Documents treatments according to Rehab Department protocols and Medicare guidelines.
• Coordinates resident’s treatment with nursing staff and other therapists.
