Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA approved and accredited college or university.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the District of Columbia.
• CPR certification (adult only).
• Ability to move intermittently and lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides Physical Therapy treatments under a Plan of Care.
• Clarifies the Plan of Care and communicates resident progress to the team.
• Documents treatments according to department protocols and Medicare guidelines.
• Coordinates resident treatment with nursing and therapy staff.
