Job summary

HRRMC Rehab Department is recruiting a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support acute care services in Salida, Colorado. You will collaborate with a skilled team of therapists to deliver evidence-based care and contribute to community health.

The PTA provides treatment under the direction of a physical therapist, participates in weekend rotations, and supports patient care through meticulous documentation and interprofessional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited PTA program.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training required.
• Current, active Physical Therapy Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Examines patients with impairments to administer the plan of care.
• Alleviates impairments by implementing the plan of care.
• Promotes fitness and wellness across age groups.
• Engages in consultation, education, and research.
• Maintains patient records, diagnoses, treatment, progress, and charges.
• Supervises aides as specified by scope of practice.
