Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute-care psychiatric team. The RN will lead milieu management, coordinate patient care, and document care in line with Joint Commission standards.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing care plans, and ensuring safety and quality care across day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts. RN licensure required; psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Assumes leadership for milieu management and directs patient care by nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, implement, and evaluate care for each patient.
• Administers medications as prescribed and ensures safe medication practices.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient symptoms, responses, and progress.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, federal and state regulations, and hospital policies.
