Valle Vista Health System in Greenwood, IN, is seeking an Intake Clinician for the FT Nights shift. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate service requests, assess patient and family needs, and coordinate referrals to appropriate resources.

The role interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and crisis services as needed, ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate care in a busy psychiatric setting.

Formación

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, mental health/behavioral sciences or RN (BSN) required.
• Licensed in field preferred.
• 1–2 years of psychiatric health care experience preferred.

Position Summary:

The Access Center Intake Clinicianis responsible forthe facilitation of requests for services, assessment of patient/family clinical needs, referrals to appropriate resources and services. The Intake Clinician works as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that patientsreceiveappropriate care. The clinicians alsointerface withmanaged care organizations, external reviewers, otherpayers,and as needed crisis calls to communityERs.

Work Hours:Monday – Friday11:00 pm to 7:00 am (No weekends)

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:License Eligiblemaster's degree in social work, counseling, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field or RN (preferably BSN)required.

Licensure:Licensedin field, preferred.

Experience:Workingknowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, mental statusexam,addictionand recovery fieldrequired.1-2 years of experience in psychiatric health care preferred.Previousexperience inthe mentalhealth field, preferred.
