Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a PRN RN to join our award-winning Surgical Hospital in Sugar Land, TX. The role is 1–2 days per week, 6:00am–1:00pm, providing preoperative care and patient management.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with an unrestricted Texas license, 1–3 years in Preop, current BLS/ALS/PALS, and strong teamwork and communication skills to support staff, patients and physicians in a dynamic surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 1–3 years' previous experience in Preop
• Hospital ER or Pre-Op experience required
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions
• Excellent team player and communication with staff, patients and physicians
