Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking a Physician Assistant for a PRN role in Orlando, Florida.

The PA will provide primary medical direction and coordination within the occupational health program, following established protocols with the Chief Medical Officer and collaborating physicians. Training consists of about 10 shifts during normal weekday hours, with a preference for after completion to maintain weekday availability for staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current PANCE certification and licensure to practice as a PA.
• Licensed physician assistant in the state of employment (Florida).
• Typically at least one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient, compile medical data and examination results.
• Order or administer diagnostic tests such as x-ray, ECG, and labs.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes.
• Interpret diagnostic test results and provide appropriate care.
• Deliver injections, immunizations, wound care, and infection management.
• Educate patients on adherence to prescribed therapies and prevention.
• Support policy development and quality improvement in occupational health.
• Contribute to education programs and maintain documentation with accuracy.
• Provide excellent patient service and uphold Orange Book values.
