Job summary

Concentra in Brentwood, CA is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our occupational health team. You will provide primary medical care under established protocols and coordinate with physicians to ensure quality patient outcomes.

This PRN role follows a Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:00 schedule with no evenings or weekends required. Prior occupational medicine experience is preferred, with opportunities for on‑the‑job training as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related health field required.
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program required.
• Board Certification required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Examines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination.
• Administers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, ECG, and laboratory tests.
• Interprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
• Develops and implements patient management plans and records progress notes.
