Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a PRN, five-day-a-week role in Pleasanton and East Bay locations. You will provide primary medical care under established protocols, perform exams, order tests, manage patient care, and contribute to education and policy development.

The position emphasizes flexibility, patient-centered care, and quality assurance. Qualified candidates have NP/PA training, state licensure, DEA and NRCME as applicable, and a background in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related health field from an accredited college or university
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university
• Board Certification
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates
• FMCSA NRCME is required prior to start date - CME provided for non-certified colleagues
• DEA required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Examines patient and compiles medical data from examination
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, laboratory)
• Interprets test results and plans patient care
• Performs therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care)
• Develops patient management plans and documents progress
• Assists in policy development and education programs
• Delivers excellent patient service and documentation in line with Orange Book values
