Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our occupational health team in the East Bay clinics (San Leandro, Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond). This PRN role provides primary medical direction and coordination of professional care under medical protocols.

Responsibilities include exams, ordering tests, patient management plans, education, and delivering compassionate patient care while upholding Concentra values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health field from an accredited college or university.
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university.
• Board Certification.
• Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates.
• FMCSA NRCME is required prior to start date - we provide this CME for colleagues not already certified
• DEA required prior to start date

Responsibilities

• Examine patient and compile medical data from examinations.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs).
• Develop patient management plans and document progress.
• Interpret diagnostic test results.
• Provide treatment procedures and wound care.
• Educate patients on prescribed regimens and health maintenance.
• Contribute to policy development and education programs.
• Deliver excellent patient service aligned with Concentra values.
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance.
