What you will do in this role:

• Provide quality, compassionate care in a secure setting as part of a team
• Assist the Physical Therapist by implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation and help patients participate in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance
• Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting standards
• Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff on follow-up programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition
• Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program resulting in an Associate Degree
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided
• CPR certification (if required)
