Job summary

Pebble Creek Healthcare Center in Akron, OH is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, contributing to patient mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• PTA education from a CAPTE-accredited two-year associate degree program.
• Must pass the national licensure examination and hold a Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verifies client information by interviewing clients and reviewing medical history.
• Implements treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with a Physical Therapist.
• Educates staff on treatment plans and participates in interdisciplinary rehab team meetings.
• Maintains confidentiality and accurate documentation and billing per facility procedures.
• Assists with staff/family training and in-services as appropriate.
