Job summary

Hireology in Odessa, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver prescribed PT services to residents to improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, documenting progress, communicating with the PT and interdisciplinary team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current PT practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PT treatments under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PT services per physician orders.
• Document progress and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust plans of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapies.
