Qualifications

• Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.
• Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with the PT team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention.
• Assist in evaluations under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in identifying goals and treatment plans with the PT.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions per the treatment plan.
• Document compliance and progress in NetHealth EMR as required.
• Participate in resident, family, and staff education.
