Zusammenfassung

Rivetus Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN) for the St. Francis facility in Saginaw, MI. You will provide therapy under the Physical Therapist's supervision and contribute to ongoing treatment planning.

The role requires completion of an accredited PTA program and Michigan licensure, with the ability to lift and assist patients, and to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.
• Ability to bend, position, transfer and lift patients weighing 80 pounds to over 300 pounds using devices clinically recommended.

Aufgaben

• Provides physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of the Physical Therapist according to the treatment plan.
• Contributes to development, implementation, and progression of patient treatment and makes modifications as needed.
• Participates in patient care conferences and program development.
• Completes documentation and adheres to policies, procedures, and current standards of clinical practice.
• Maintains quality of medical records and ensures continuity of care.
• Coordinates with other disciplines for effective total patient care.
• Delivers high-quality care and participates in discharge planning as needed.
• Maintains clinical expertise through continuing education.
• Promotes teamwork within the department and company.
• Delegates tasks to support staff and supervises students/volunteers.
• Represents the PT department to family, visitors, and staff; attends care conferences as requested.
• Communicates effectively with staff, patients, families, and department heads.
• Secures equipment and supplies as needed; performs other duties as assigned.
