Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, CO is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for PRN status in Rehabilitative Services. The PTA delivers prescribed treatments under a Physical Therapist’s guidance, aiming to reduce pain, improve mobility and restore function.

Requires a Colorado PTA license and BLS, plus 1+ year rehab experience; proficient in Meditech, EHRs, and office software. We offer a base pay range with PRN differentials, a flexible schedule, and access to employee programs;

Qualifications

• Colorado PTA license (DORA) required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Rehabilitative Services setting preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient charts and prepares patients, residents, and equipment for therapy services.
• Implements treatment plans under supervision, including exercises, stretching, and use of therapy equipment.
• Monitors patient responses and communicates changes to the supervising therapist.
• Completes accurate documentation of treatments and condition changes.
• Collaborates with Therapists, Attendants, Registrars and team members; performs other duties as assigned.
