Gardens of Belden Village in Canton, Ohio is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, independence and quality of life.

This flexible PRN role offers competitive rates, no minimum commitment, and opportunities to gain experience in a long-term care setting alongside an interdisciplinary

Formación

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state.
• License in good standing with licensing boards.
• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Net Health experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative therapy team.
• Passion for helping residents maintain mobility, function, and independence.

Responsabilidades

• Providing skilled therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Addressing strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional needs.
• Monitoring resident progress and response to treatment.
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
• Communicating resident progress and concerns to the supervising PT.
• Completing timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
