Job summary

Gardens of Belden Village is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy that improves residents' strength, mobility, balance, independence, and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds an active PTA license in the state and has experience in LTC/SNF or geriatrics (preferred but not required).

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the applicable state.
• Good standing with licensing boards.
• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required.
• Net Health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapy interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans.
• Address strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional needs.
• Monitor resident progress and response to treatment.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques.
• Communicate resident progress to the supervising PT.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care.

What You'll Do

As a PTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled, hands-on therapy services that help residents improve their strength, mobility, balance, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include:
