AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Rome, GA. This PRN, day-shift position supports patient care under a physical therapist, delivering individualized treatment plans and ensuring safety and documentation compliance.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy, PTA licensure or eligibility, BLS, and proficiency with EMR systems. Competitive pay range of $20.80–$38.69 per hour; applications accepted on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Physical Therapy.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• PTA license or eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Maintains safety for patients and staff during daily activities.
• Implements individualized treatment plans under supervision of the physical therapist.
• Modifies treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments.
• Collects patient data and communicates discharge recommendations to the physical therapist.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely following department policies.
• Oversees rehabilitation aides and coordinates related activities.
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts communication accordingly.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement activities.
