St. Peters Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. This role involves supporting the Physical Therapist in implementing resident-specific treatment plans and contributing to patient care and program development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct treatment to patients according to the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and report signs of reactions to treatment, alerting the physical therapist immediately if adverse responses occur.
• Accurately document all pertinent information regarding the treatment program and record-keeping.
• Maintain productivity levels and manage time effectively according to the daily schedule.
• Participate in interdisciplinary patient care plan meetings.
• Communicate patient responses and progress to the supervising physical therapist.
• Engage in program development and share best practices with the rehab team.
• Assist patients in achieving outcomes while acting as a trusted community partner.
