Job summary

Asheboro Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center in Asheboro, NC, is seeking a part-time weekend Physical Therapist to join an excellent in-house rehab team under new management.

The role requires a PT degree, NC license, and the ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, document progress, and work with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• PT degree from an accredited program recognized by APTA.
• Current NC license/registration to practice physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive PT evaluations based on physician orders.
• Develop and document long- and short-term treatment plans with goals, frequency, and modalities.
• Ensure MD orders for evaluations, treatments, re-certifications and discharges are obtained.
• Deliver treatment to patients with appropriate modalities and adjust as needed.
• Document daily participation and weekly progress, updating plans and discharge summaries.
• Maintain documentation for MDS and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, screens, and ethical billing for PT services.

Education

B.S./DPT/MA/MS in Physical Therapy (APTA-recognized)

State license to practice in NC
