Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our team serving the Albert Lea and Austin, MN locations. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic programs to help residents recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice, with BLS certification and the ability to work in a dynamic post-acute care environment.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
• Obtains and maintains required competencies and certifications; Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within first 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs to improve mobility, relieve pain and increase strength.
• Conducts examinations, evaluations and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
• Documents patient information and develops therapeutic plans; educates patients and families on treatment schedules and home exercises.
• May supervise assistants, aides and students and provide ongoing education to peers as directed by department leadership.
