Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required or obtained within 60 days.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Maintains department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Conducts evaluations and interventions for residents affected by injury or disease.
• Educates residents and families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Documents progress and ensures compliance with departmental guidelines.
• May supervise assistants and students; may require on-call and travel between locations.
